Aye man the 2020 season had the potential to be the greatest season in history Covid hit and just deflated it

Not mentioning 2010 is wild. Kobe wins a 5th ring in a nail biting game 7 against Big 3 Celtics; Bron gets a second MVP, KD emerges as a superstar and wins his first scoring title, etc.

Not to mention the crazy amount of iconic game winners: "Kobe over Wade", Artest "put back"; Barron Davis, "turn around" game winner, etc.

2016 will forever be the best nba season of all time

2016 is being rightfully brought up a lot. But the East was cheeks. all the best non finals moments were in the east. Spurs being unbeaten at home, OKC, GSW records chasing, and Kawhi’s coming out party as a superstar.

Media representation has been horrible this year. But defence has been awesome. Giannis got a mid range and his passing has been beautiful (shame about the Doc rivers Tax 😔). East has been legitimately fun and every game in the West felt super important. The MVP race was dope. Memphis had a cool new play stole that got their coach fired. This has been a really great year for hoops!

I think the 07-08 season was the best I've ever seen. The 1st seeded Lakers had 57 wins and the 8th seeded Nuggets had 50 wins. I think that alone should show how competitive the West was that year. This year is pretty amazing so far. Its not every year that there are two 60 win teams in both conferences.

2011 has to be up there. All the hype surrounding the Heatles, Lakers going for the 3peat, Celtics Big 4 still relevant coming off the Finals loss, MVP DRose and of course Dirk’s legendary playoff run

2012-2013 season minus the injures, bron and the heat were still top tier, spurs, pacers were good, celtics, kd vs melo for the scoring title, dwill was still cold. Warriors were emerging, kobe with dwight and nash. Harden first time with his own team. John wall,

2011 D Rose is the youngest MVP ever, Lebron's Heat are the undisputed title favorites and NBA villains, The Spurs and Bulls both win 60+ gms, KD wins his first scoring title, Phil Jackson seeks his 12th title & Kobe looks to tie Jordan's 6 rings and second three peat, Dwight Howard wins his 3rd consecutive DPOY, Dirk goes on his iconic championship run... Melo forces his way to NY to join Amare, Kevin Love averages 20 & 15 while shooting 41% from 3 and Blake Griffin is ROY and the last rookie to make the all-star team.

You know what, i really like this debate topic 💯 Especially because of the HUGE contrast in opinion from the beginning of the season until the now. Remember, there was a huge chunk of the season where people were complaining about nba basketball and criticizing viewership, the avalanche of 3s taken each game, lack of defense, refs, nba being 'soft, ' blah blah etc etc. But now theres a mystique and excitement that surrounds the playoffs that i havent seen in yeeears so yea 👏🏾🙌🏾💪🏾💯

Man yall trippin that 08 and 2010 season was crazy you had 8th seeded teams in west winning 50 games and you had the Celtics and Lakers rivalry at it’s peak since the 80s. Then you had LeBron trying to get his first ring. D-Rose (pre-injury) was ascending. OKC was forming into the greatest young duo we’ve ever seen. Not to mention Kobe still holding on to the best player in the league. Not to mention the Spurs in the middle of their dynasty. On top of Curry, Wall and Griffin emerging but going through the growing pains. Needless to say I’m definitely picking any one of those seasons over this season hell even the 2016 or 2018 season.

Best season.... rating at lowest... crazy how peope make things up as NBA has been going down. Box office...players... its definitely not this season.
