dhalsim is rlly cool, the problem is he and jamie are so special in theyr gameplan that they can only work for hardcore mains/onetricks, every single time i see dhalsim he dominates 90% of the game only to miss 1 attack and then get 100 to 0 in seconds, dhalsim players always have to use 200% of theyr brainpower to even come close to other characters which makes its frustraing and exhausting on the long run

I love watching people play the non photos or lesser picks like dhalsim, Blanka, etc

Dhalsim would have been a far stronger character if not for DI mechanics. It allows too many other characters to be able to forcibly charge in with armor.

In my head-cannon, this is an amazing battle between two different philosophies of fighters: Dhalsim embodies truly understanding himself and his opponent in order to win, while Akuma only sees rage and cannot understand the Yoga master. In the end, Dhalsim only looses because he did not see how far Akuma was willing to go in order to achieve victory..Akuma leaves the battle with a tiny bit of respect for the old man's ways, but did not find the battle he desires here and moves on seeking that ultimate combat elsewhere.

Man when sim misses even from a long range poke, Akuma just punishes so bad

love how diago always respects his opponent in SF6, going back to neutral in some spots, or not using invincible dp as soon as he starts taking pressure, not using throw loops ever, etc, even when it costs him a possible win. Almost like he wants to see what the other guy can do. When you consider how most play SF6, that's pretty impressive. Seems like no matter what he won't back down on his defensive playstyle, even if rushdown into rushdown repeat is the most optimal way to play this game.

Reminds me why we're never gonna see another diago parry this lifetime.

I did a whole commentary on a play from torimeshi but I guess youtube fucking hates me because it got insta deleted, so I'll just say that from 4:05 to 4:15 tori was an absolute genius

dhalsim is bottom 1 in a game where every character can perfect parry into drive rush punish anything he does full screen. everything he does anywhere is unsafe. at top tier competition he's the worst in the game. the only character to have been tuned down from SFV to SFVI.

Did you notice that Daigo adapts to his opponent? At first he gets beaten but then he manages to win.

Using 1bar to do chip damage is very smart

This game looks great, but I can’t stand the projectile fights in dueling games. Any recommendations of a fighting game without this type of cheese?

The weak point of dhalsim is his slow moving ability

Is there anywhere we can see the rankings?

Well, I think the worst thing in every Street Fighter games are these fireballs, and CPU or players who spam them all the time.
