It's not the best game in the world but I will say, as someone with 4.5k+ hours of play time over the years. This is probably THE BEST free to play game of this type out there.

They continue to add more and more to the game without paywalling things. Everything can be accessed for free with cosmetic items being basically the only thing that costs real money... and even some of that can be acquired without paying a cent.

Warframe is the only game I have consistently played over the last 10 years and I love it.! What I want new players to understand is YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY MONEY IN THIS GAME! WF has an amazing trade platform that trades prime frames/weapons for the premium currency. Everyone has access to these parts via relics that are all farmable in-game. These trades are then facilitated through third party platforms like Warframe Market. Please do not be off-put by the Plat prices on things. Nobody pays for those. Welcome to the Origin System Teno!

Wolf plays Warframe?! Omg I love Warframe. Duveri Paradox was much anticipated and twice delayed update. Warframe has a steep learning curve and kind of tosses you in the middle of things without telling you which way is up. I highly recommend the main story which unlocks after the roughly 70 hours of tutorial (you know it when you are hit with a character creation screen) Duviri can be played before and they did a good job making sure you can play in any order and the stories make sense.

The only stuff you can't get without paying real money is the Prime accessories that are exclusive to Prime bundles and Excalibur Prime which was only for those who bought a Founders pack 10 years ago but you can get Excalibur Umbra for free and he looks better and is stronger.

Oh and for PC players there's cosmetics made by the community that you vote to add to the game and part that money goes to the creator

tbh warframe is one of the best free to play games i know. im not playing it because i know i would get addicted to it. combat and movement is soooo satisfying. it did go a far way, its almost unreckognizable from its release version and all that for free.

Something very very important for potential new players to understand is that, whether you love or hate Duviri, it NOT an accurate depiction of the Warframe base game. It is it's own unique world with a unique combat system that cannot be used anywhere else in the game. For new players, I would not recommend starting with Duviri, go with Vor's Prize and come back to Duviri once you understand what the base game is like.

The game systems still cool and amazing as the first time I played just after the introduction of the Orbiter. But the community management... Mistakes were made and then DOUBLED DOWN.

Hm, interesting, might be time to reinstall Warframe. At least it's the ONLY F2P game I felt ok after purchasing stuff and not manipulated into spending through frustration.

Maybe one day I will unlock a second Warframe ! I only played about 100 hours, leisurely, so... I had fun and the game is very well done: beautiful graphics (even if you tone down some settings), excellent performance, smooth movements... The only real criticism is that trading is not made user-friendly unless you are in a clan ; explaining how it works would be long.

I miss Warframe, throughout 2018-2019 it was the only thing that i played with my friends and we all a blast every time!
