For the pantry door, a curtain put on the other side of the glass will be a nice touch, you can still see the glass and the pantry sign.

Love your content! Could you have put the wood panels on the inside of pantry door? Then you could still use the glass door for decoration? Or maybe putting a blockout option like pretty stick on vinyl on glass? Or even chalk paint? Then more decorating options! 😂❤

It always makes me so happy to see how much your channel has grown since I first come across it. Shame you have to alter the pantry - I used to be a kitchen designer and didn't even think about the light getting into the pantry being a problem - but of course, it makes sense. When I had a pantry (before we downsized) we had an automatic timer on the light that would go off after a few minutes when the door was closed. I created a lint basket for my laundry but never thought to reuse paper bags in it - what a great, and simple, idea. One of the best things about our new apartment is that it's so easy to put things where they belong as the place is small (compared to a house).

I was so glad for the pantry update because we are getting ready to change ours to the open shelves like yours. We do not get any daylight in the area we are using, but I'm glad to know to watch for the pitfall.
