That looks like a really comfortable cruise. I remember visiting Halongbay and sleeping on an old boat, outside on the deck.
Several tourist boats would stick together and sleep in the same area to protect themselves from pirates.

Seems like a great experience! The accommodations are beautiful!! Plus the scenery there is stunning. Seems like the sunset party was pretty fun, although it did look kind of foggy for a sunset, agree about it being cinematic. I would absolutely do that cruise! Watching the omelet being made has made me hungry now!

400$ is a lot but, for what you seem to be getting...not bad at all. The room looks great and very spacious for ship room. The spread at the restaurant looks amazing. The views from the deck, wow. What an epic landscape. Getting out on to the beach to enjoy the sand and play some volleyball. Exploring the caves. Man this place is gorgeous. A sunset party sounds good to me. What a delicious looking dinner! Definitely getting the bang for your buck.
