I remember this banger way back in college at the radio station on campus. I played the 3 hour reggae block on air, and then my main man, Long Island Malik played the dopest, most illest hip hop to never hit the mainstream. It was too good. Like mix tapes on wax. We both played live artists rhyming over B-side instrumentals on live mic calls during the last hour of our time blocks. Then we would all cypher the nicest blunts and we would chat for hours with great friends and making new ones, too. Not bad for a young kid from East Harlem going to school in a strange place called Texas. Oh, and getting some sweet honies as well. Groupies. They are so giving. We were rich and famous in our own little world. The late night waitresses knew our names and our radio broadcasts at the university. They were big fans.
Now let me tell you about the time I smoked a blunt with my British Literature professor. And she was pregnant. She insisted on me passing it to her. We chatted. We laughed. She still gave me a D in the class. Had to repeat it for my major. She sucked after that. But anyway...
