My New Favorite Watch - Undone

Hi John, only recently started following your you tube channel and been checking out your past videos, all great content .I have a large collection of watches and like you I don’t spend a lot on a watch, most people don’t realise the large second hand is for timing and doesn’t usually need to ticking, it’s controlled by the top button on the bezel, the small second hand will continuously tick anyway, just a tip for saving the battery life

Budget watches can be fun. However, you mentioned that a watch is a great way to make a statement and if your budget allows, I recommend going for a Movado Heritage series or an Omega. Movados are more affordable and for less than $1, 000 you can land a classic style Heritage series.

Came to check this out after you mentioned the video in your 2021 watch video. I checked out the site and it is really cool. I love the idea of being able to customize a watch and have something nobody (or at least only a very few) else has. Well done!

Interesting video.
If we can say that most men of a certain age don’t really feel comfortable wearing jewellery then a watch is the one accessory that you can express yourself with.
I think the Undone watches are very interesting but I must say I’m not too impressed with your fashion watches. There are some great automatic options at a similar price point.
For example for the same cost as a Daniel Wellington you could easily afford an Orient Bambino. So you get the same minimalist aesthetic plus some genuine horological background and a solid in house automatic movement. And yeah you get that nice smooth sweep of the second hand. Pretty cool huh.
Finally nice alternative to Undone ( which I do like ) are Dan Henry watches. Judging by your taste I think you might find them appealing too.

I've been buying Invicta for a few yrs now.those watches are more pricey, and bulkier.as i am 59yrs old now.im finding that a 55mm watch can be uncomfortable on your wrist at times. Undone is the Co. You say.i'll be checking out their website.they look comfortable & light.
