My wife appears active randomly when I know for a fact she isn’t online as she’s asleep right next to me. We have changed her password twice and it still happens. I’ve emailed Instagram and never received a response. I imagine this has caused a lot of issues for many people. I hate social media.

We are having the same issue with my partner so we are turning off the background app refresh in settings to see if that changes things.

I am so much worried about my Instagram account....it show me online when i am sleeping or not using app ...it make me so much tense because i have not use my insta account for a week but it shows active for the whole week ..my active account show after an hour then next hour that i have been active 5 min ago, 15 min ago but thats not me....plz someone tell me why this happenimg to me....i have twicly change my password...but nothing change ....and nothing suspicious happening in my account only time change ....my frnds messages were not seen not any single activity happens...plz someone tell me is this alerming situation or
