I don't have much more to say about her Alex. She's always loved opera and used to sing her grandfather's favorites before he passed. She is stunningly beautiful but so is her voice and she's considered one of the best lyrical sopranos in the world. I'm so pleased that you enjoyed her. Her rendition of O Mio Bambino Cara is also flawless and she sings in many languages. Stu ❤❤

Laura's natural voice is, in my opinion, the most capable female voice in all aspects, including vocal timbre, textures, power. If we pay close attention, we can perceive a shocking similarity with the voice of Maria Callas, but with superior capabilities.
Writing the lyrics of a song is less important because it is the music that gives the melodic relevance. Let's not forget that the musical part of this song is inspired by the music of the neo-baroque composer Tomaso Albioni (Adagio in G minor) and that's why Laura's voice, which has a natural classical touch, fits perfectly with the musical tone.
This song performed in the style of contemporary music loses its essence and becomes something ordinary and without brilliance.
Lara Fabian has a beautiful voice and vast experience, but she lacks the classical touch and Dimash abuses the very high notes, and that's why he lost the first place at The Singer 2017 contest. Dimas probably has the widest arsenal of vocal technique, but, how nobody is perfect, his natural vocal timbre is a bit shrill and sometimes scratches the eardrums.
Knowing how to sing does not mean singing only high notes, because in the art of singing vocal textures are much more important than vocal range.

Song written by LARA FABIAN! Lara has so much more emotion in her original version. This is a young girl, who has not yet learned to sing with emotion. Biggest reason being, she hasn't had disappoint in her life due to a relationship.

Laura learned to sing by watching YT videos about singing opera. Her mom also helped as well as her grandfather. The only lessons she had were a weeks worth of advisory time with a fellow Romanian singer who was in town to sing with the Chicago Opera Company. Oh, Laura was born in the U.S. and lived in Chicago all her life. The family makes many trips to Romania. Laura won the Voice Kids Romania. The she auditioned for AGT 2016 when she was 13. To say she stunned everyone there and those watching on TV would be an understatement. Simon said he'd never heard anything like it in all the years he had been doing these singing competitions.
