Bringing the Full Force of Community to End Homelessness For All

Rockford, Illinois reached functional zero for veterans and chronic populations in their community — now they are working to make homelessness rare and brief for all. The community is fundamentally reimagining what partnerships and cross-sector collaboration looks like to make progress toward ending homelessness for all.

"Our community has a goal to end all homelessness," said community leader Angie Walker. "We know that that's a big task. We've been successful at reducing the numbers of homelessness for various populations in our community, but we don't think that that's good enough. We want to end all homelessness."
