NC State vs. North Carolina Game Highlights | 2024 ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament

The 10th-seeded NC State Wolfpack completed an amazing run as they became the first team in ACC history to win 5 games on their way to the tournament title as they beat the top-seeded North Carolina Tar Heels, 84-76 and were named champs at the 2024 ACC Men's Basketball Tournament. DJ Horne scored a team-high 29 points on 9-15 shooting and DJ Burns, Jr. was magnificent, finishing with 20 points on 9-12 shooting with 7 assists for Kevin Keatts' club. Mohamed Diarra did the dirty work, scoring 11 points, grabbing 14 rebounds, blocking 3 shots and coming up with 3 steals in the win. RJ Davis scored a game-high 30 points and Armando Bacot finished with 18 points and 12 rebounds for Hubert Davis' team in a losing effort.

This game was a win for the players. It was all them this time. And if you watched them in the final minutes they were completely spent. I do not believe they would have survived a 21 minute half. But they stuck it out to the bitter end with all they had. I also noticed how well they played as a team. I haven't seen that much from NC State. It was all heart.

Where are all of the highlights from the 2nd half for NC State? Like the HUGE block on RJ Davis by Morsell or all of smooth operating by Big Baby Burns that earned him the tourney MVP? Biased doesn’t begin to describe this BS

Are we sure NC State won the game? The highlights seem to show Carolina with the better game. So confused. In between Carolina highlights, the Wolfpack's score keeps going up. So confused.

It was a close game. Maybe next year if UNC spends less time focused on coming up with cool TikTok dances and custom handshakes, and more time practicing how to shoot 3 pointers like State did, they might have won. I wonder if UNC let the Wolfpack borrow their boombox so they could play "We are the Champions"?

Is it me or RJ Davis has his left arm perpetually extended with every shot! Wasn’t called even once that guy pretty much knocked over his defender every time he took a shot. The refs really tried to keep UNC- Cheat in the game but NC State wanted it too badly and would not be denied!
