That is a work of art, you know what though people get caught up with how much it cost . You can buy an exotic painting for hundreds of thousands, millions. And it just sits on a wall, at least that plays music and probably plays it very nicely. Awesome.

A friend of mine took delivery of one. I desperately wanted to be disappointed, or at least not absurdly impressed. I didn't get my wish. The damn thing is extraordinary. The thing's crazy, exotic low torque motor design and complete physical isolation from the earth/house it's supported by are the two things that sets it apart from every other turntable design. Whatever it is, they folks at Wilson Benesch are on to something. If you're seriously into analog, this table just might wreck you with how impossibly good it is.

Unacceptable that VTA also affects VTF and Azimuth. It certainly does not on the NAGRA REF, and that is considerably less expensive.

It's interesting that no one is doing the Nakamichi centering fix - no matter how accurate the motor, all turntables will suffer from hole offset distortion. The DS Audio device is the only one that fixes that problem.

Seems like a lot of show. If it all contributes to the performance, fine. Seems like a lot of emphasis on lighting and showing it off. To me there is beauty in form follows function. If that can be done with a minimalist vibe, I prefer its understated elegance.

Typical hi end bling. I think id take an SME over this.
Seems there might be an awful lot of magnetic flux coming off those coils....near a cartridge???🤔

There's a lot of opinions. But ultimately, the proof of the pudding will be the listening experience. I await with fascination, the audiophile reviews.

Expensive yes. But someone paid 200, 000 for Freddie Mercury’s moustache comb.

Love that it’s possibly the best turntable in the world and the guy just lobs his mobile and controller down on top of it 🤪😂😁. Still it did look sturdy and I’m sure a bit of Jiff will remove the scratches.

Absolutely bizarre, extravagant and above all ugly. What's that? A turntable or a spacecraft?
