Tropical Storm Debby to strengthen into Category 1 hurricane

Tropical Storm Debby is set to strengthen over the Gulf of Mexico into the Category 1 hurricane that will make landfall on Monday in North Florida.

The NHC is being nice with the predicted strength of the storm at landfall. Those waters ahead of it are extremely warm with minimal wind shear. Florida should prepare for a strong category 1 maybe minimal category 2 hurricane

You cannot get from Tampa to South Carolina without going thru Northern part of Florida. Would appreciate any info in this region. Realize may not be important or as populated but IS area of projected landfall. Am biting tounge trying not to say evil nasty things about FOX WEATHER BUT REALLY.
