40 dollars per day for an 8hr shift is 5x the minimum wage in Vietnam.. 5x the minimum wage in the US is 36.25 dollars per hour and the average salary for an electrician is 27 dollars per hour. Average across the whole US. These guys get paid well given the economy in vietnam

I’m more interested in a lunch review from you and your apprentices.

I’ve heard the food in Vietnam is basically heaven on earth, and I would love to see what a skilled contractor eats for lunch on their work days.

❤ from the USA, from one skilled tradesman to another!!

This is so sad, that this great work gets payed that low in compairison to other countries.
People in other countries do way less and get payed like 3 Times that amount.

Keep up the work

In the Netherlands a good elictrian gets about 60 euros an hour if he works for himself independently. If he works for a boss the average is €2500-4000 a month depending on the skill level ofc.

Hey, I'm a Journeyman Electrician in NYC, New York, U.S.A. while PVC isn't common (if they're allowed at all) in the environments I work in, I can still appreciate your work due to the manner in which you guys work. You guys are extremely organized and your installations look beautiful. Im just curious about the hours. Is that two different 4 hour shifts of 7:30 am to 11:30 am and 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm or is that your entire work day? That's not so bad then, as far as the hours go. Basically you have an 8 hour work day with a 2 hour Lunch splitting it in half. Anyways whether you reply or not keep up the good work. I only mentioned that I live in New York City to point out the fact that it's a major city and the preferred method of wiring in the environments I work in (industrial/heavy commercial) is conduit and single conductors/wires. Please do not pay any attention to your detractors. I doubt the majority of them are even electricians let alone tradesmen at all!

Here, somewhere in southamerica, an apprentice would make around 25 usd per day, group leaders would make double that

From the little I know about Vietnam it seems like a fair wage. I'm curious if skilled trades are valued in Vietnam? In EU it's generally highly valued and pays a good wage, would say that you can make well above median.
