This was well done, Thank you for this, Seeing Reggie run off that field like a tailback after the '77 series is something, I'll always remember watching Reggie hit those 3 homers in game 6.

Seeing the stirrups, the colorful uniforms, how the deciding games went from daylight to under the lights... this was all great. Kind of an evolution from Schoolhouse Rock to Saturday Night Live! Groovy, man. I could really dig this video. Groovy!

It’s incredible that even after the Carlton Fisk home run, the Reds still win Game 7.

The 70’s had dynasties.
Oakland A’s won in 1972, 1973, and 1974.
Cincinnati Reds won in 1975, and 1976.
New York Yankees won in 1977, and 1978.

Side note, the Pittsburgh Pirates won 2 in the 70’s in 1971 and 1979.
And the Baltimore Orioles were favorites in 1971 vs the Pirates, had the Orioles won, they would have been a dynasty too.

After all of these repeat winners in the '70's... the Dodgers were the only team to win 2 WS in the 1980's. 1981 & 1988!

Impressive that none of the outs were strikeouts. That wouldn’t be the case for the past decade.

TF was Reggie Jackson doing after the '77 game? He ran off the field like someone was trying to kill him.

What's impressive about this decade is that Baltimore, Pittsburgh, and Oakland Won WS today those teams are perrenial small market bottom feeders without a chance in hell of ever being in a WS much less win it.

Always struck by the chaos that followed the home field wins.

0:41 = People forget that Pete Rose came within about 15 feet of being Bill Mazeroski .... (Ted Uhlaender was on 1st at the time)
