Back for another memory trip. I really think this is my No1 Disco favourite of all time, not only because its true Disco, but for the memories it holds for me personally. Shame was the very first song I danced to on my very first visit to the mega gay club Le Chic in Nottingham UK. I promptly fell down the 8 steps one had to climb to the raised dancefloor & twisted my ankle I also broke the 6 inch platform heel off my right shoe. I didn't dance again all night and the DJ played this at least four more times. I had to just wriggle and wobble around in my seat. Oh the "SHAME" I didn't live it down for weeks. Lol. If I'm right I think "Shame" was the first vinyl record to be only released on 12". I stll have my vinyl copy & I know at one stage it was classed as "rare" & hard to find. Unfortunately though I think that with it being widely available on the Internet the value of the vinyl originals has been dimished. It's a real "Shame", but also an advantage as I no longer need to risk playing the record and damaging it.
