I really like the detail of their eyes, swiftly looking over to somewhere else other than the camera, not sure if that’s the intention but, feels like they can’t focus their eye contact too much at something/someone else, I really relate to that as I struggle with the same thing, dammed anxiety…

I can see this having been on just about every girl’s (and maybe some boy’s) backpack when I was in middle school. That was late 2000s and early 2010s, but this character fits the aesthetic perfectly!

I do sometimes miss the early 2000s. There were artists I knew that had awesome art styles, however they reached realism levels and eliminated the anime aspect. Kinda miss the old art.

This slightly reminds me of the 2000s. Maybe later 2000s era.
