Gulmarg During Snowfall in Kashmir After Lockdown (Scenic Route) Gondola Ride & Snow Activities

I had visited Gulmarg in Jammu and Kashmir after lockdown in April. Luckily for me, it snowed during my visit to Gulmarg! I got to experience snowfall in Kashmir!!

In this video, I'm sharing my road trip from Sonmarg to Gulmarg during snowfall. I had to change my vehicle at Tanmarg to a 4 wheel drive enabled one. From Tanmarg we reached Gulmarg and stayed 1 night in the Hotel Pine Spring.

The next morning we took the world's second highest and Asia's highest Gondola ride to Phase 1 of Gulmarg. Phase 2 was shut due to snowfall.

Gulmarg is a popular winter destination for skiing and many other winter snow activities. I tried my hands at skiing and driving the snowmobile. You can also take sled rides in Gulmarg starting at Rs. 600 per person.

Our guide made sure that our time in Gulmarg was smooth and managed to get us the best deals for the snow activities. If you take a guide you don't have to share your ride with anyone else during the Gondola ride. I must say that taking a guide saved us a lot of money. We rented the snowboots from Tanmarg. We also changed our vehicle at Tanmarg.
