Been a big help for my DM deck, especially those dragons, really help. I’ve got it fairly close, need a bunch of UR gems for about 2-3 deck cards and 5-7 extra deck cards.

Love your vids bro. I upgraded my DM deck to add these in but I had a tuff time winning games. Maybe its me maybe I still dont understand the new cards, but it felt like this deck is trying way to hard to do two different things.

Hi Sam; thank you for the decklist! I've been seeing a lot of your Dark Magician coverage and I have always wondered why you use Link Spider on the Extra Deck instead of Imduk. I have always assumed objectively Imduk as a Dragon is better suited for the whole DM the Dragon Knight / Dragoon plays. Can you tell me your thought process regarding that pick? Cheers Champ!

Super Poly is definitely a viable way to play Dark Magician, but an alternative way to play would be running Evenly Matched, which frees up extra deck space for things like Chaos Angel (this plus Dragon Knight with Eternal Soul is nasty), Guardian Chimera, and maybe even Zeus for going second. And if you're running 3 Ash, which I don't think is super necessary in DM, you could even try to make space for a Baronne.

I know you can send them with Souls, but running 3 TTTalent doesn't make much sense since it's once per turn. Replacing at least one of them for TTThreat would make sense. Double Circle and double Eternal Soul also aren't optimal imo since they're searchable and recyclable. If you wanted to double up on any DM spell that's normally run at 1, I would suggest Secrets because it can help to turbo out Dragon Knight, especially in a build that runs Bystials. Cutting down on some of these cards would leave more space for handtraps, which I think this deck is just a couple short of and would help it's competitive viability.

Edit: there's also no reason I can think of to run Link Spider over Imduk.

I started playing this game again after not playing since about 2005 back in December. I didn't care that Dark Magician wasn't really good, I love that card and played it! The interesting thing is I built something really similar to this (missing a few of these) and its been working really well. I am currently diamond 5!

Just decks that aren't tier 1 so it helps people know was they can play their fav decks
