In this video I show you how I installed cabinet lighting using LED light strips. It was pretty easy to do and only requires a few tools. Using the soldeless connections makes it super easy for pretty much anyone to wire it up.

Glad I watched this. Never thought of the plug behind the microwave above the oven. I can power all my cabinets on both sides using that plug. PERFECT. Thanks for the vid.

Awesome video! It was extremely useful as a guideline for my own kitchen. I installed the LED strips both under and over my cabinets! Now the In-laws have shown interest in doing this in their kitchen! So it looks like I may be doing another kitchen! Thank you for the guidance!

I appreciate your taking the time to make this video to share. It is just what I was looking for!! I nave to smh, though, because he spent all that time installing the lighting and making this video, but didn’t want to spend an extra 15-30 minutes maximum spraying the tops of the cabinets with 409 to wipe the dirt away. Men🙄 LOL.

It’s literally that easy…spray with 409, wipe with paper towels to remove dirt, wipe again with clean damp rag to rinse cleaner residue away, then and dry towel. Poof! It’s done. Just did this in my son’s new kitchen and it smells so much better now that the years of built up grease the previous owner’s left behind is gone . He was so appreciative.

Boys, while you’re already up there, take the extra bit of time to clean a bit. It’s worth it!! Your nose with thank you for it!! Written with love from mom’s everywhere❤️

You're correct, it is in series.

I love the ideas! I'm working on a project similar to this myself. I was wondering how folks did it like this! Thanks for some ideas!

I used RGBWW smart led strips on the tops and bottoms of my cabinets. I like that they can be turned on or off with my Google Assistants. Plus they can be warm white, white, or any color you can imagine.

Great video. Thinking of doing this in my kitchen. Only thing I didn't see was a dimmer switch, but with the remote on and off button, I'm impressed. I'd put that right next to the power switch for the kitchen lights cause I'd lose it in a drawer.😊

Thanks for this vid man! You explained it so well and made it sort of fool proof. I’m going to be building and installing kitchen cupboards and didn’t know how to add the lights below. I actually thought they’d be the round lights so I literally thought I’d have to redesign the bottom of the top cupboards just to hide the round lights 😅 that would’ve been way too over complicated. With your advice I can add the lights to my quote and do it myself AND score some extra work AND save my client money👍🏾can’t wait to see your other vids. Keep it up man!

Great info and buy list. I struggled to get good connections on a white strip using the quick connectors. Perhaps a future video can add tips for using these. It seems obvious, but it isn’t.
