This is so well done! And, yes, the price does surprise me. I am planning to build in the Ozark Mountains in Missouri in 2024. After watching other build videos, I was convinced I would need 500K to make it work. The way this one is built and the choices he made along the way tells me I can fit within my budget of 300K. Thank you!

Congrats to the Kamaras on this build. But expect to pay more than double for the same A-frame in the Northeast. The Charlie House (same layout) was built in upstate NY for around $500K and the owner, who appears to be some what of a contractor, performed most of the work himself.

Blown away how cost of building can be so in some areas of the country. The price of each of these build items outside of Seattle are 3-5 times higher. Land is at least 25x higher lol.

What's the advantage of A frame compared to a regular luxury cabin? Besides the A look? Is there any advantage?

I loved the Den designs especially the A frames. Im not actually far from where this build was completed but the hardest part is finding a builder that’s willing to build for less than $500k. Im curious to who he used as a builder.

You cant buy a shed in Canada for 2, 300 dollars let alone land lol! That said, congratulations on your hard work and a beautiful home.

So if I don't build in an area where the environment completely works against me and I plan on committing to some of the work myself I would only really need $50, 000. I've already got realtors saying they put these up with $40, 000 on plots of land and make money on reselling. How long until to make a $250, 000 return on AirBnB, 10 years with guest lined up every single night?
