Lmao, this is common sense. Not having boundaries period will destroy your relationships with anyone, not just your partner. Why do we talk about things are essential to us as human beings as though they are gender based roles that we need to adopt to get a person of the opposite sex?

There should be some nuance to this:
1. Having boundaries is healthy regardless of your gender. Because if you don’t have them you might be destroyed by the other gender or any gender for that matter.
2. However that doesn’t take away the responsibility of the one imposing the destruction. If you are the only one with boundaries in the relationship you should not stay with someone until that person is destroyed to only then find another person. That is just wrong.
3. She is talking very abstract when it comes to boundaries. Some boundaries are good whilst others are damaging. For example, if I say that women should not drive any car, that is generally not accepted in the western world.
