I was teaching everyone this trick. U can do it without a sword but it’s trickier. If ur a warlock u can complete this way quicker with healing rift and ult

last wish used to be my favorite raid, i came back to destiny after a several year break and literally every encounter is cheesed by most LFG teams. it's honestly sad. the mechanics are fun IMO.

was running this helping people with my clan and one of our members showed us this while we were trying to explain the encounter to the people trying it first try. its a cool cheese and can help if you want to get through Last Wish relatively clean, even though the raid has been out for years😂

It's really cool to see the techniques that people have come across. I've yet to complete a raid in my 3 years of playing Destiny 2, but I think I would still try to do it the way it was intended until I complete it once.

this isn't really worth it tho, it's better to teach newbies instead of doing everything for them and if everyone knows what they're doing, it's just faster to do the encounter normally

the only time I'd say this is worth doing is if half the fireteam is afk grabbing dinner or something so while you wait you do the glitch

Omg ty for this. I played around with it and had trouble with the sword. After some trial and error, I found I didn't need the sword, you just have to jump up.
