Показать описание
At the 48th Committee on Food Security (CFS48), CCAFS proudly co-hosted a side event in partnership with FAO and the UK's FCDO to discuss the role of innovation in transforming food systems in a climate resilient way.
Now you can watch the event in its entirety here, with opening remarks by Thiensin Thawat (Chair of The Committee on World Food Security), Maria Helena Sedemo (Deputy Director-General FAO) and Rt Hon Lord Goldsmith (COP26 Minister at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs).
They are joined by speakers such as Terri Sarch (Permanent Rep of the UK to the UN Agencies in Rome); Nicoletta Pavese (Manager Soft Commodities Forum, WBCSD); Dick Nuwamanya Kamuganga (President, Uganda National Farmers Federation); and our own Dhanush Dinesh Head of Partnerships & Outreach, CGIAR’s CCAFS). Some key themes included equitable access to innovations, thinking beyond just technology, and learnings about what works from those farmers on the ground.
