In Todays video I'll be showing you how to create a real time chat application from scratch using Node.JS and WebSockets. We'll be using the WS library for the Node.JS side of the code and the native WebSocket library for our Front End JavaScript code. If you have any issues let me know in the comments. I'd love to do more real time videos using Node.JS and WebSockets so if that's something you'd be interested in let me know.

t tried multi-way to create WebSocket node js is the best way to connection web socket in browser, you tutorial was wonderful

Great video but the audio level is low and there are noises throughout the video that are very loud and annoying because i have to gain up the audio and then they become very loud.

What would be nice to see is how to send missed message for example if the chat is opened on a phone and has a bad reception. I struggle with this and sometimes devices do not get all the messages. In addition to that i also use groups. so every group has its own set of users who only receive messages in that group

this is easy to take down, you can get the websocket link, connect with any client and send anything that isnt a json :(
