Brand New wagons on delivery to the UK - August 2024

Over two consecutive days in August 2024, two new deliveries of wagons took place. On August 5th we see 66792 with a lengthy rake of new Mendip Rail wagons for Freightliner in VTG blue colours working from Dollands Moor - Wembley. They entered traffic the very next day!

Then in the small hours of the 6th, we see 66794 delivering a rake of GBRf blue box wagons, working from Dollands Moor to Peterborough. Both movements came through the Channel Tunnel.

Nice catch there Howard. Are the the wagons that are made in Malaysia? Or am I thinking of other types.

Interesting to see the platform lights get brighter as the train passed. Presumably motion sensors?
Never seen that before on a station.
