Hey Datchia! Love the theory and at the end I had a thought. You mentioned the dad not being present, shadows and maybe something about the mom. Could her “sin” be related to the divorce of her parents? I know this might be a stretch but just a thought. In the Bible there are a few mentions how the idea of a married couple getting divorced is a sin. Could the shadow of guilt you mentioned be her mom blaming Taylor for the divorce? Maybe there was some sort of event that happened which led to her parents getting divorced, and that trauma is following, or haunting her. You mentioned the dad not being in the house so she is likely still living with her mom, so if that trauma is following her the music and friends would be an easy escape from thinking about what happened in the past. I don’t know just a thought I had when I heard you mention this stuff. Always enjoy your theories! It’s nice to be able to keep updated with this lore so I can come back and theorize later!
