Are You Ready for Winter? | I'm Stacking Firewood

With the prices of heating fuels on the rise I decided to resume using my fireplace this coming winter. A few years ago I was able to cut firewood from the limbs of a typhoon-downed cherry tree. I've stacked them inside my front door for easy access. 🤩👍🏾

TROUBLESHOOTING:

Good day everyone! I’ve received a few messages recently that some of you haven’t been receiving notifications of my posts. I’ve spoken to YouTube Creator Support and they’ve provided some solutions:

Problems with notifications? The common reasons why a subscriber will not receive notifications.
1. They are not actually subscribed to your channel, but are confused by “Recommended video” notifications.
2. Their bell icon setting is set to “personalized” rather than “all” notifications. This resets if they unsubscribe and resubscribe.
3. Their greater YouTube notification settings are set to “None” for channel notifications.
4. They aren’t logged in.
5. Their device level notification settings are overriding their YouTube settings
Another reasons viewers may not be receiving notifications.
1. They already received the maximum number of notifications from your channel that day.
Thanks for your patience and continued support. It means a lot to me.

I love watching your videos. They are so relaxing and calming 😌.
I live in an apartment so gardening like you do is not possible, so I garden vicariously through you. I just have lots of houseplants.

What a welcome video from you, Robert! Seeing your rearranging the firewood, cleaning up, moving the papaya around with the "oops" as well. My wife and I eat papaya every morning. We make a smoothie with papaya and a few strawberries - most nutritious and healthy for us! I do hope you get some edible papaya for your efforts for the amount of work you put in with it. Such a tall plant - soon you'll have to move it over to your high ceiling area. Interesting about the car stuff. So glad you can enjoy that fruit of your labor, keeping with the garden theme! Thanks for your uplifting episode and we look forward to future masterpieces from The Kamakura Gardener - TKG! 🥦🍅🍉🍓🍇🥕🍆

Good morning Robert! Your vegetables are looking fantastic! We had our first snowfall the last two days, so pretty, I love it! Everything looks like a postcard. Highs in the 20's & teen's the next week.

Good evening Robert! I was wondering how you were going to get the tall papaya tree inside, but you did it! Great job even though there was minor complications getting it inside. Your garden looks excellent, and the broccoli is really starting to develop the heads. Everything looking good. I love seeing the beautiful autumn tree leaves changing too! So beautiful! I pray that you are doing good and enjoying life to the fullest extent possible! Cheers!

Love your garden, Living down on the peninsula in the early 80’s was my family’s first taste of Japanese culture. My two oldest were born @ Yokosuka Naval Hospital… we’ve lived all over Japan from Misawa to Sasebo to Okinawa. Now Inokashira love the pond & park, just to many tourist on the weekends. Have a wonderful day

Wow! Papayas in Kamakura! (Too bad about the other fruit). You have a old fashioned "houki"! I was pretty surprised that fall was so warm in Tokyo this year.
Those boys must know you; they responded with "good" right away and their accent was quite good. :-)
