I'm 68. The grand-kids found some old 8-tracks and my old "Panasonic" player. I was in the kitchen making a sandwich, when this song was playing, they goaded me in to showing some BRIEF disco dance moves I had with their grandmother almost 50 yrs ago. They laughed of course, I looked ridiculous, but I didn't miss a step.

It’s almost virtually impossible to listen to this song and not tap your feet . . and if you can’t then you must be dead already . . a disco classic of the highest order from back in the day.

Disco was real upbeat, type of music makes you feel good, make you think of family and friends. Special bonds.

The Sweetest Sound Around. I learned to disco dance in my wheelchair with this 12" single version.

Brings back GOOD MEMORIES of the 70's. I was a student in Pre Med, worked in Surgery as assistant with 3 Surgeons. At night I hit the Disco's!! I danced many nights to this song. So much fun. Everyone had Great Times then. I talk with young people today and I ask "do you like the Disco Songs"? The reply is always YES!! I wish ot was today because what is played today is not fun. People will say to me "I want to hear this music and I will in private. I ask why and "we are afraid to let some people know we like this music"!! I don't understand, except I tell them " your an individual, so enjoy what you like and ignore those that are negative".

I’m 19. My parents were always big fans of 70s/80s R&B. This is one of the first songs I remember. I was very young to my mom dancing to this in her room

I was 13 years old when this song was on I recall dancing in my parents living room not a care in the world & my cousin walked in on me! I paused for quick second but then continue dancing all she said was oh you're dancing. God rest her soul every time, I hear this song, I remember her ❤️🖤
