Mahalaya Paksha, also known as Pitru Paksha or Mahalaya Amavasya, is a 15-day period when people honor their ancestors. It takes place in the month of Bhadrapada, which is in September or October.
The most important day of the period is Mahalaya Amavasya.
Pitru Paksha is going to start from September 18, 2024 and culminate with Mahalaya or Sarva Pitri Amavasya, which is going to be observed on October 3, 2024. Pitru Paksha is dedicated to honour Pitru or ancestors and forefathers.
I got the opportunity to try using Fresh & Crush Wood pressed Coconut & Til oil also known as Marachekku ennai.
