I was going to say, the ambulatory motion looked far too advanced. We are just not there yet.

you can tell that this is fake because the robot shows attitude at the end of the round. that sophistication is so far off from any current AI that this could not possibly be authentic!

If it was true, the robot with its rapid hand movement would have been used for a demonstration of more useful things like squating flies at an outdoor picnic, playing lawn darts, or as an acrobatic bartender, but not ping pong.

I had a strong feeling that it was fake. There are no Robots so far that have that capability in Ping Pong. However, the robots will become that capable in more than 10 years time.

I just saw it and knew immediately that it‘s fake. It makes no sense to move like a human and especially at the end when he moves away cool as fuck. A robot dont need to follow a certain body move, foot position and dont need certain relax pause or head position. An AI could play like that, but why he would? A robot does not need to have physical limitations.
