@6:30 LOL. Yes! You never know. You can meet English speakers in the most odd places. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and I met a volunteer at the Akita Kanto Festival. He studied at the University of California (Berkeley). At a small ramen restaurant in Kochi, the waitress was an exchange student at Union City High School. Both spoke English with a California accent. It was just like home!

I loved that shrine. It was under construction when I was there in 2019. Can't wait to get back to visit Japan cause I so miss it!

I had an amazing time hanging out in Shinjuku with you! Except when I had to relive my crane game trauma! 🥲 Never again....

That lemon sour bathtub was so intense! Shinjuku at night actually looks right up my alley even if people say it can be a bit more dangerous. I dunno. Sounds like fun to me...

That bowl of Mega lemon reminds me of CDawgva episode earlier.. and it was solved by calling extra members to help with it. Thanks for Shinjuku tour!

Hi Sarah I really enjoyed this upload. I find the traditional and relaxing setting of the shrine literally in and amongst the hustle and bustle of the city really interesting, it’s nice to know that you can get away for some peaceful moments when you need them. The cat cafe was brilliant, I have two cats and their personalities are complete polar opposites 😂 we call their dry food biscuits here in England/UK, not sure about other countries though. Thank you for sharing this with us and looking forward to seeing where you’ll take us next. Best wishes to you

Would be cool to see a deep dive into multi-level cafes/restos that have a great view of the street/surrounding area below.

Your reaction to getting the totodile on the third try was so genuine. Put a smile on my face instantly, love it when people win against the odds! Congrats! You could definitely see Alyssa tempted to put her life savings into the crane games after your win lol.

Hi, seerasan. Great video. I have watched a few and found them really helpful. I subscribed to your channel as I love to learn more about Tokyo and Japan.
I was in Shinjuku for 6 days in early July. I attended a Band-Maid okyuji at Zepp Shinjuku inside Kabukicho Tower, best rock concert of my life. Nice to relive my time in Shinjuku by watching this video. I had dinner at one of the restaurants in Kabukicho Tower. The restaurants are really close together at the 2nd floor. You are correct that the pricing is a bit higher, but quality of food was great and prices was not that bad. I found a small resturant in APA Hotel Kabukicho across the street where a lot of local people had lunch and dinner. It's called Common Cafe, the food was really cheap and very good, but the meny was a bit limited. I used the Common Cafe a lot because of the low price, and the fact it wasn't crowded at all.
I can't wait to go back there in November this year 🙂
