While I respect the effort you put in...this is kinda mid story wise. Am I unhappy with it? No, not really honestly it might be better story telling then a fair part of the DB franchise.
Certain parts of this seemed to take away from much of the relationship between Vegeta and Goku and I think that's what rubbed me the wrong way, you portrayed a lot of regressive traits in such an beloved character who has by this time(he has blue hair its current not back in buu saga or something) has made great changes but then when it comes his father those traits instantly go away to fit a story telling aspect.
