Thank you for posting this video. I have struggled with the system on the receiving end. my ex quit his job Shortly after the order was established and became self employed. He doesn’t file taxes and hasn’t paid his child support in over three years. Have gone to court multiple times over nonpayment and he gets away with it every time. Courts won’t Enforce or lock him up. I was told I may never get child support because they don’t rarely lock anyone Up. I am better off hoping he wins the lottery before I get the child support that is owed.

Loathsome. This is why fathers caught in this system are committing suicide. The suicide rate for men is almost 4 times higher than for women, and 60% of those men are caught in this system. But no one cares about the men who lose all access to their children and are reduced to trying to survive on a couple hundred dollars a month. You just chew them up and suck them dry of their earnings and throw them in jail if they can't keep up (like when they lose their jobs due to needing to attend numerous court dates.) It's all about the money, and the fathers and the children get tossed under the bus. I have been there, done that, and you disgust me.

Does the imputed income go both ways.?..what about the deadbeat able bodied mom's who chooses not to work.?

This is great. Now if NC didnt take 5 years to find a parent or actually work fast enough to catch them in jail, itd be cool beans!
