This guys attitude is repulsive. He is worse than the POL execs and lawyers in many ways, at least they were misguidedly defending their business but this guy was pretending to represent SPMs yet was conspiring against them. If he was so confident that Horizon is/was “robust” why he was against Second Sight doing a review that would have confirmed it?
He was taking his salary under false pretences!!
Fortunately he doesn’t get to vote in parliament otherwise the death penalty would come back based on his belief that it doesn’t matter if a few innocent people are hanged.

He was owned - bought and paid for. He maintains that he was not informed of the problems in the Horizon system - but he was informed - he was informed by his members and other SBPMs - just not by the Post Office. If Vennells had told him anything, he'd have of course believed every word she said - but would not, could not, didn't even consider believing the people he was supposed to represent.

Here is an ingenious The Post Office has been prosecuting innocent subpostmasters for many years, well before we had Horizon. This disgusting behavior thus should not be blamed on Horizon. Moreover, we looked at the contract years ago and found that a contract is not fair; contracts do not have to be fair. So Post Office contract and potential loss of fortune and liberty are at risk and have been before and after Horizon. All of this leads me to the compelling reason that I want at all costs to defend Post Office and try our damnest to sell this dangerous life arrangement to as many good people as possible!!

Well he did himself and horizon problems no favours.... and I suspect he didn't support any member who was struggling. No doubt made sure his own position was as safe. What a nasty piece of work.

I'm sure his wife will be really pleased with his performance. He had his story, and he was sticking to it. Couple of points he just failed to comprehend. The manual system could be checked there was paperwork to go through. The Horizon computer system said money was missing and had no ability to investigate.
