The Round Midnight Project were created in Athens, Greece and consist of Leonidas Ioannides (trumpet, cornet, and flugelhorn) and George Micros (piano). Melody meets the harmony and the improvisation with a combination of emotions which is diffused in every performance. With an emphasis on the Greek composers, draw inspiration from the inexhaustible work and perform with respect and tenderness the creations of them through a special atmosphere.
After 30 years of wandering in the magical world of music, learning the emotions, Mikis Theodorakis took deep root inside us offering us generously the flame of his unique approach in the world of senses. We capture with love the gifts he gave us, a tender aspect of his so great creation. We thank you Mikis, that you succeeded to fill our souls with your wonderful music, and we dedicate our effort with the most wonderful emotions for everything you offered us.
