I like the wood scales on this knife. It adds a certain level of style to it, and I never found the toothpick or tweezers that useful. Nice review.

If you want to foud a use for the corkscrew, it is very usefull for knots.

Now that it's two years later... how do you like the wood scales? I'm thinking about getting wood scales because it looks really nice but I'm worried that they'll be uncomfortable to use and will deteriorate over time.

I have a beeswax & unboiled linseed oil I purchased from Amazon. It is expensive, but I really like it. Not an over powering odor either.

Your inability to hold this knife at an angle that is useful to prospective buyers is completely infuriating. I dont want to see the scales. I want to see how thick it is.
