The King's Indian Defence is a very powerful counter attack opening. Black gives White a huge center and then finds ways to launch a kingside attack. Great legends like Bobby Fischer, Garry Kasparov and modern greats Teimour Radjabov, Hikaru Nakamura have played this opening with the black pieces. Kings indian is a great opening and is my favourite ..whenever someone plays d4 i play the KID.but playing it one needs to be very carefull as one single mistake cost the game ....

When I started my chess career my first opening is king's indian defense. I defeated many players with this opening, but suddenly I m in losing streak. My last opponent says, u always want control any center, otherwise u will lose. After that, my opening changed to slav defense(d4 response) and french defense (e4 response). But still I love king's indian defense🥺
