This is one of my first card tricks I learned back in either 1966 or 1967 from my Grandfather on my Mom's side of the family., he taught me this and at least four more card tricks, I been performing this ever since and used one of the two patters he taught me as well.
The first style of patter was every one leaves a certain odor on the cards after touching the cards and my nose can actually detect that odor, then I go through the routine. It gives a good laugh.

Side note:
Since these tricks had no name and my grandpa taught me I called them granddad truck 1, 2 etc
