Doctor, I purchased a custom mouth guard from my dentist. The first guard which looked like the one shown here fit perfectly in my mouth except the back right side did not fit the last two teeth. They re-scanned my mouth and ordered a new one. The new one is huge. It is composed of two obviously different materials. As I examine closely it’s as if the former entire guard was placed in another hard substance to keep one part in back in place. My front teeth sit up very high. I woke up every two hours last night feeling like something was prying my mouth open. I’ve had guards before-this is excessive. Not very custom for $617. Calling the office.

I have a mouthguard but I have noticed that my lips don’t wanna close at night anymore cause the mouth guard is pushing them open, this is going to affect my face or jaw at all?
