It does work.

In the original portion the ice chunks were smaller so there was less room to be filled red liquid.

In second part, the ICE chunks were larger, leaving a larger area to receive more ice coffee

It’s cause of the ice it makes your cup full up more if there was no ice it wouldn’t work
