Ignore what he’s saying as you won’t look like a tourist. They wear all the brand names over here Nike, Adidas whether it be trainers, clothes etc… they wear sports/clothes everyday
Wear what is comfortable for you.
We have so many different cultures in London that anything goes. If you like Ital food, Caribbean, American, Asian food, Indian or good old Fish n Chips you name it we’ll have it .
You’re such a nice guy I think you’d fit in well and everyone would love you.

Whatever you wear, everyone will know you are American.

The only thing that any tourist shouldn’t wear is uncomfortable shoes, especially if they are doing a lot of sightseeing. Other than that, wear what you want. (Cheshire, UK 🇬🇧)

In Finland, if you sit five minutes on a bench by the town square, you will see all of them especially in summertime. It is more to do with the age and personality and of course where the guy or girl is going to or coming from, meaning e.g some sort of special occasion.

Well, he's right, you're immediately recognized as a tourist.
The young people also wear sportswear here, but adults less so.

I'm an old UK lady and I wear trainers = sneakers, all the time. Baseball caps, khaki cargo pants, and hoodies are fine. Just don't go to the supermarket in your pyjamas

His idea is that if you don't wear these things, people will not know you are American. He thinks he isn't obviously an American.

Fortunately, if you come to the UK, you can wear what you like.

Wow - I never knew my son was American ! He must be because he wears a baseball cap (backwards) all the time ! This Wolters guy is talking BS. Absolutely nothing wrong with Khaki pants either. Or athletic clothes. Also talking about Europe as if it is just one country ! (Please stop doing this - there are 44 countries in Europe, many with their own distinct languages, cultures, cuisines etc). Please don't take any advice from this guy. I come from UK and have been to many European countries. I have never had anything stolen from me. Just keep your wits about you like you would in any big city, in any country in the world. Wear what you want.

What rubbish. Everyone of a certain age dresses the same. The only rule is to be respectful of the place and the occasion - so no flashing the flesh in a religious building, particularly if a religious ceremony is taking place. Otherwise just wear what’s appropriate for the climate and the terrain. Don’t wear uncomfortable shoes if you’re doing a lot of walking, for example.

As a Dutch guy, this list wasn't very accurate.
First above all ; Wear what you want. If I go to the supermarket in shorts, on flip-flops, that's my business.
I see 50+ men walk on sandals, with white tennis socks pulled all the way up.
Italian men wear those cheezy, low white sneakers, tight blue jeans pants and a shiny, filled jacket vest.
In Germany many still wear those 80s jeans with non matching leather jackets.
I see baseball caps everywhere. I litterally have atleast 10, from our local footballclub.
But please, ... Please, stop wearing those caps backwards. It looks goofy.

You wear what you want my dear, don’t take some of this information too seriously on YouTube.
You CAN wear a baseball cap.
You will be made welcome very over here.

Sorry, I don't redpsct someone who pretends he knows everything about a country then gives bad information (and he's very offensive about the UK).

Oh please…. This guy is talking out of his derrière! 🙄 Please ignore EVERYTHING this person says, and just be you! NO ONE cares what you wear!

Pretty much the only thing that will really annoy the majority of Europeans, is if you are overly “loud”. Trust me.. that’s it! 😂

I am sorry but I have never seen a more inaccurate video ! I’m from Ireland and people here wear all the clothing he stated .I normally don’t mind his videos but in this one he was way off 👎
