DJI O4 First Flight and Initial Thoughts (Rekon 7 Pro)

I'm looking forward to more flights with the O4 system, especially when more frames and 3D prints are available. I've got a second O4 Pro to put somewhere and a "lite" version as well which I am working on installing in a Darwin Fold Ape 4.

even the lite version of the O4 has massive improvement in dynamic range. Looks gorgeous in those Goggles 3 😍

Super cool, I also considered installing mine in the Rekon 7 pro, but then decided on the Geprc Tern LR40. I'm curious to see how it flies, but there's been such thick fog here for days that you can't see more than 100m😔.But at least I have everything set up. Unfortunately, my Rekon 7 Pro doesn't have a full TPU camera mount like yours, so I'll hardly be able to mount the O4 Pro there. But I'll probably install it there in the long run.As always best regards and have a safe flight my friend 😎🦅🫡

Hey looks great. I did the same type of testing today going back and forth between O3 and O4. The difference in clarity in the goggles is noticeable. Even on G2s. I turned down sharpening to -2 because I thought it looked way over sharpened (same with your video). The O3 and pretty much every DJI product is always too over sharpened.

Nice! Did you have any issues fitting the O4 Air Unit Pro in the Rekon 7? Was the MIPI cable long enough?

i did notice thew shaking your talking about when you where turning near the water thats an odd issue. this is a awesome unit. a much needed upgrade in the dji sphere.
if you are truly looking into color grading look into davinci resolve. its free/300 dollars. the free version is extremely powerful (better than premier pro) great color tools. from my understanding its what hollywood uses. also its free and powerful. it just has very few limitations on the free. but not when color grading. and a ton of youtube videos.

its overwhelming at first but comes 2nd nature pretty quick. also im a novice to color grading but its pretty awesome when you start to see how you want it to look.
anyways thats my suggestion. im not sure if your a pc. or mac kind of guy but i believe it works on both

also with the shaking and the 6s, im curious if you have a bug in your f.c firmware. have you tried to update your motors? im assuming your using blheli or bluejay. it could be that a f.c didnt get updated/ or failed to update. or inspect the motors to see if the magnets are still aligned correctly. that happend with my mobula 8 and it shook like that until i crashed and one magnet was stuck to the bell and tilted.
