I love my two year old TR7 and I still enjoy viewing youtube contributions. Several things I've noticed over the years. Buyers are NOT reading the Users Guide! Every one seems to use cold water and this is NOT the correct way to clean your clothes. A warm wash with a warm rinse ensures a clean wash for moderately soiled items. Warm water also reduces wrinkles. Cold is for delicate items only. It does not clean like warm and hot. It is useful only for colors that bleed easily and for sensitive fabrics. In wash temperatures colder than 60F detergents of any type do not dissolve well. If you have soiled with greasy stains, grass or ink, you need HOT water. Hot is best for whites and colorfast items, work clothes, soiled items and diapers.
Select the hand wash for delicate items. Remember, detergent goes in first! Heaviest items go in first, lighter on top. Do not pour detergent over the clothes. It goes in first before the heavy clothes. Stay away from Fabric Softner. It puts a wax on your clothes and gums up your machine over the years. Use the pre soak for soiled items!! Note that as in most top loaders, SQ does not recommend you wash pillows (because they are very buoyant. Sort by amount of soil and do not overload! You'll be very happy with this machine because it does clean well and does not bash items!! Read the manual and your clothes will be clean! Tons of special washes if needed beyond the panel selections! As an example one code is p3 to clean waterproof items rain coats. P4 is for SUPER SOILED clothes. These are just two examples of coded washes available. I keep my manual on the dryer for reference!!

Black laundry equipment was quite a thing back in 1988. Interesting to see it come full circle. Seeing the "Contractor Appliances" sign in the background of your video raises red flags. The word "Contractor" to me, equals the cheapest product one can get "contractor grade" HVAC for example, the lowest quality, the worst in economy, junk, "Builder Grade". YUK! When I see that I run the other way.
