“2024 IEEE CISOSE & FTS Summit to be held in Shanghai”
From July 17 to 20, 2023, hosted by Institute of Electrical and Electronics, co-organized by IEEE CISOSE Board of Directors, IEEE Future Technology Summit Organizing Committee - 2023 IEEE International Congress on Intelligent and Service-Oriented Systems Engineering (IEEE CISOSE), 2023IEEE Summit On Future Technology Future (IEEE FTS) was held in Harokopio University of Athens, the capital of Greece. The conference attracted scientists, university professors, industry experts and scholars from many countries in Europe, as well as more than 20 countries in the Americas and Asia!
The 2023 IEEE CISOSE Conference includes IEEE JCC 2023, IEEE SOSE 2023, IEEE BigDataService 2023, IEEE MobileCloud 2023, IEEE DAPPS 2023 and IEEE AI TEST 2023 held during the same period, and received more than 200 professional papers, which finally passed the expert selection. The selected papers of this IEEE CISOSE Conference will be published in "Future Generation Computer Systems", "Service-Oriented Computing and Applications (Springer)", "Blockchain: Research and Application" and other professional journals. The conference was co-chaired by Prof. Jerry Gao (Executive Chair of Steering Board of IEEE CISOSE 2023, Research Center Director, San Jose State University, USA) and Prof. Iraklis Varlamis (General Chair of IEEE CISOSE 2023, Professor at Harokopio University of Athens, Greece).
2023 IEEE Summit On Future Technology Future (IEEE FTS) (2023IEEE Summit On Future Technology Future), as the core meeting of the 2023IEEE CISOSE conference, invited many heavyweight guests and speakers, including: Dimosthenis Anagnostopoulos, Secretary General of Public Management Information System in Athens, Greece; Yota Paparidou, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SEPE (Greek Information and Communication Technology Enterprise Federation); Vincenzo Piuri, Università degli Studi di Milano, Italy (Vincenzo Piuri); IEEE Fellow, Professor Hans-Arno Jacobsen, University of Toronto, Canada; AAAS Fellow, APS Fellow, Professor Ruhong Zhou, Institute of Quantitative Biology, College of Life Sciences, Z Hejiang University; Professor Paul Watson, Director of the UK National Innovation Center for Data and Professor of Computer Science, Newcastle University and other political representatives, professors, entrepreneurs and other professionals attended and delivered keynote speeches.
Secretary-General Dimosthenis Anagnostopoulos said: I have been in the position of Secretary-General for the past four years, and we have indeed achieved considerable achievements in these years. We have raised the electronic transactions of citizens to a better level than before. I believe it is critical that government serve citizens and businesses in the best possible way. We have developed a cloud-first policy in Greece to best facilitate cooperation between the public and private sectors. But I know we still have a lot to do and our work with our European and global partners makes us even better. How to take the best of technology and bring it in, get used to it, and take advantage of it, both in industry and in government. Collaboration with academia and participation in conferences and exchange of ideas are encouraged. It is a great honor for me to be here today.
Prof. Mara Nikolaidou, honorary chairman of the conference and president of Harokopio University, said in an interview: We are very honored to host this year's conference, which is a very important conference involving issues such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things. All of these affect the daily life of human beings. We hope that we can achieve our goals and provide a fruitful exchange platform for all who attend the meeting to discuss the current and future prospects of these fields. The conference was very well organized and attracted people from all over the world. Themes are very, very important. That's why we're proud to be a part of this community, and we will continue to be a part of this community in the future. We also hope to have the opportunity to host you again in Athens.
