Belgian over here, we're usually mocked over the fact that we have 10s of political parties and it takes so much time for us to form a government after every single election - which is indeed the case. But looking at the US, we should also clearly see the super dangerous thing about having a polarized two-party system. You simply end up choosing the lesser of two evils. In the end no one is truly happy and the elites of democrats or republicans can force their 'not so ideal' candidates as the saviour.
