My welsh husband was a cruise ship captain, and most of the crew were always filipino, he ( my husband) trusted them more than his fellow Norwegian, British etc officers!, When on leave, he would even give his car keys, a small convertible Mercedes to one of his filipino AB( able seaman) to look after!
I traveled with him to many countries, and the Filipinos became our friends, they loved him, and he them! MAHAL KITA!

I visited the Philippine last year and my experience was incredible, every person on the streets I could hear humming or singing, and karaoke is EVERYWHERE!! even the kids sing perfectly !! They are so talented.. FYI alot of singers came from the Philippines!!
