Whipping Post was probably their most famous song, but The Allman Brothers Band will always be perennially underrated. But among those who really know, Duane Allman is still considered one of the greatest guitar players ever.

The absolute greatest. Saw them 8 times in concert, whenever they came anywhere close to where I live. Once hopped on a bus to Tampa to go see them in 1973.
