Это не постановка Нуриева. Это традиционная для нынешнего времени постановка Чабукиани (1948)

It seems that at times her timing was off on the pas de deux. I do like this production but can not compare with the Bolshoi. I do prefer Maria Alexandrova Ganzetti variations. The corps des Ballet is outstanding. In the other hand, Nikya was fascinating to watch, Bravo.

I agree that the bayaderka mariinka may be better than Nureyev's bayadère in purely choreographic terms, but how about Svetlana Zakharova's dancing in the La Scala production -- about 80% Marius Petipa. Roberto Bolle was awesome too.

On a second review. Dupont was ok. i do like her performance. it seems her back was stiff that she couldn't arch backwards more or she didn't think it was necessary. it's the small details that separates performances.

Aurelia Dupont is wonderful! I like her performance here. She's def the etoile of the etoile. Elizabeth Guerin will be proud. I think she's up there with the Russian ones. I noticed slight change to Nureyev's Choreography. I prefer the original, more classy.

This is terrible. The golden idol and Gamzatti are falling all over the place from their turns and tour. The Pas de quarte girls look like student rehearsal, the arms is all wrong and not lyrical.
Look back the 1992 production with Platel and Guerin, they were way more advanced with their turns and extensions; the company was much better rehearsed back then. Very disappointing

Очень артистичная Ману). Лучшего исполнения пока не видел. Те две девочки - так себе.

this was filmed when 'the leads were at their height had it first on video - Loved the sets and costumes but for the Paris Ballet some of the dancing was messy especially back legs which seem to be forgotten in jumps and extensions Gamzatti is a bit emotionless- she is after all about to kill her rival for Solor but Letescus dead pan face shows none of the sneaky cruelty,

Что в Большом, что здесь разве это Нуриев, похоже на плогиат Корлевского балета с другими декорациями и костюмами

Zakharova’s dancing burning electric moves make anyone else’s attempts pathetic. All the pretty costumes can’t match the Nureyev version where the acting was much better.
