19 floors or pure madness. Truly one of the most insane places I’ve been to

For anyone mentioning the missing posters, I’m like 100% sure they are fake but I didn’t put them there. This was an actual hospital and for the most part it’s remained untouched since it was abandoned in 2005. Everything seems so clean because the first 4 floors of this 19 floor hospital are actually active, providing the upper floors power and air conditioning (making everything decay much more slowly) Also the fact it’s a half active hospital deters vandals and scrappers. There is actually a lot of interesting history about this place and it’s all accessible online. I wish I could tell you where this place was but I can’t because I don’t want people to destroy things.

Don't understand why people abandon facilities like this. Such a waste of space, resource and generally everything

The posters and bottles set out and X-rays were probably for a photo shoot or an indie film that was shot there.

Those huge lamps in operating rooms always give me chills. Idk there's just something terrifying about them

Abandoned hospitals always scare me, because they make me think of the Goiânia accident. Basically, people took some radioactive material from a machine in an abandoned hospital in Brazil, and it ended up spread around a local community and killed 4 people and exposed hundreds more to radiation. This was a long time ago though, and it's unlikely that something like this would happen again, but with everything that hospitals do, I think I'd be too afraid of any potentially dangerous equipment or waste to go looking around an abandoned one.

Idk why but the missing posters looks fake, especially the photos of the people look like cropped images that came straight out of Google images 🤣

Ngl the 3 story operating theatre and the shot afterwards look like their from American horror story asylum, maybe that’s where they got their inspiration for it 😂

Be careful. A large reason places get abandoned with everything inside is because of mold or asbestos which can cause cancer and death. There could be pther things too. Just stay safe 🙂

I know for a fact that those missing papers are a fake because they are lacking KEY information like full names, D.O.B, police department/local area, phone numbers, etc. and the pharmaceutical bottle that where out were far too new to match the other dated items in the rest of the psych ward.

An essay about pilots if anyone cares:
The Unsung Heroes of the Skies: An Essay on Pilots
Pilots, often romanticized as figures of adventure and skill, represent a unique blend of technical mastery, unwavering discipline, and profound responsibility. Far more than mere drivers of sophisticated machinery, they are the navigators of the global aerial network, entrusted with the lives of hundreds and the safe passage of billions of dollars in cargo. Their profession, steeped in precision and pressure, demands a rare combination of intellect, resilience, and an innate understanding of the dynamic forces that govern flight. At its core, the role of a pilot is to command an aircraft from one point to another, but the complexity beneath this simple definition is immense. Before even leaving the ground, a pilot's work begins with meticulous planning: assessing weather patterns, calculating fuel requirements, charting optimal routes, and performing exhaustive pre-flight checks. Once airborne, they are constantly monitoring a myriad of instruments, communicating with air traffic control, and making real-time decisions that account for everything from unexpected turbulence to shifting winds. This constant vigilance and analytical processing are paramount, transforming the cockpit into a dynamic office where every action has immediate and significant consequences. The skills required to excel as a pilot are diverse and highly specialized. Beyond the obvious dexterity in handling controls, pilots must possess exceptional spatial awareness, enabling them to visualize their position in three-dimensional space and anticipate the aircraft's response to their inputs. Critical thinking and problem-solving are essential, as unforeseen emergencies or technical malfunctions demand swift, decisive, and accurate responses under immense pressure. Furthermore, effective communication, both with their co-pilot and with ground controllers, is vital for maintaining situational awareness and ensuring coordinated operations. The ability to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations is perhaps their most defining characteristic, turning potential disasters into routine challenges. However, the life of a pilot is not without its significant challenges. The rigorous training, often spanning years and costing a substantial amount, is just the beginning. They contend with irregular schedules that disrupt sleep patterns and family life, traversing time zones and experiencing constant shifts in their biological clocks. The immense responsibility of carrying hundreds of lives weighs heavily, fostering an environment where perfection is the only acceptable standard. Moreover, the evolution of aviation technology means that continuous learning and adaptation are fundamental; pilots must consistently update their knowledge and skills to operate increasingly complex aircraft systems and navigate ever-busier airspaces.Despite these demands, the allure of the cockpit remains strong. For many, it is the profound sense of freedom and the breathtaking perspective of the world from above. For others, it is the intellectual stimulation of mastering a complex system and the satisfaction of navigating challenges successfully. Ultimately, pilots are the unsung heroes who connect the world, enabling global trade, facilitating international travel, and responding to emergencies with unparalleled speed. They embody a dedication to safety and excellence that allows millions to reach their destinations, often unaware of the quiet professionalism that guides them through the skies. In a world increasingly reliant on rapid movement and connection, the pilot remains an indispensable figure, a guardian of the journey, and a testament to human ingenuity and courage.
